Ahoy Mateys! This week we jump into how the gaming community has received our game, what the feedback is and what we plan on doing with the future iterations of the game! Pirate’s Boom Boom is out now on iOS and Android and is one of the most fun pirate games out there!
A week after the launch we have been reviewed by a couple of prominent mobile game websites, such as TouchArcade, Pocketgamer and Droidgamers and to us this means a lot. We are very excited to be welcomed and for our game to be enjoyed considering the developmental process, the time, energy and most of all uncertainty if gamers will like what we’ve created. Thankfully, we feel redeemed and the fact that gamers want to have more of the game is pretty exciting and makes us continue on our quest to make Pirate’s Boom Boom as one of the best pirate games 2023.
One of the biggest criticisms we would like to address is the ads in the game. Pirate’s Boom Boom is free to play and the traditional model is to have ads to generate a tiny amount of revenue on each ad watch. Honestly, we dislike ads and we are strongly considering removing them from the game altogether or at the very least minimizing the ads during the main arcade experience. Even myself, as I play through the game I get a bit frustrated at the break of the experience. Our goal is to offer a premium version of the game with many more graphical modifications, such as different flags, boat textures and even items, so you can customize your look to what you want of the boat and the characters. We hope that this addition will make Pirate’s Boom Boom one of the best pirate games android platform.
Another thing we think is that currently the game offers a very specific arcade experience, as opposed to a multi-faceted one with different game modes. Because of that, we are working on the “Story Mode” which we think will be one of the most popular ways to enjoy Pirate’s Boom Boom. Pirate & Crow have a great story that is full of exciting characters, but most importantly the friendship and companionship that develops between the characters. Their trials and tribulations have a lot of real world lessons and questions that users might ask. We think this mode will make Pirate’s Boom Boom one of the best pirate games ios.
The last mode which we would love to implement very soon is the PvP mode where you get to go head on with other players and be able to send your own customizable fleet of ships at your opponent. It’s a 1 part strategy game, 1 part arcade shooting, where the combination of two will decide the victor. This is a very exciting mode that I don’t think has seen the light of day, or at the very least not in the way we are planning to implement it.
