This is our launch week for Pirate’s Boom Boom on the Apple app store and Google Play! Our mobile game, an arcade shooter, in a visually gorgeous black and white will be available for the world to play! This is our first official public release on the app stores and are really excited to see its launch. We have had demos and beta versions of other projects, and if you are interested in other fun pirate games or pirate apps send us an email or DM because we’d love to show you the history of these great characters and all the other media they have appeared in.
As an indie game developer group, we rely heavily on grass roots, word of mouth, and user fandom. If that’s you, we have a huge favor to ask. This is the opportunity to take advantage of the app stores’ algorithms and top charts – and we’d be absolutely blown away if we could make it onto one of the Editor’s picks or Top lists for New Pirate Games for 2023, Best new Indie Game, or Pirate Games 2023! The fastest way to make this happen is, of course, to share, download, and comment. You, our players, our fellow pirate mateys, are our engine and we can’t do it without you. Any time you download the app, rate it, comment on the pages, share it with your friends or vote in any poll that is super helpful and a priceless boost to our momentum. Also, did you know that the iOS and Android markets are very different and it will be very important to tackle each one with a totally different strategy. For example, More Android users play games with ads, while iOS users prefer to have cleaner, no ad experiences, while they play their games. It will also be our goal to make Pirate’s Boom Boom one of the best pirate games ios on the 1st of September.
And you know what the best part is? Even if you think it needs work, or it isn’t quite your cup of tea, leaving us comments about how to improve our app also helps build traction, and it also will help us improve the game for the future! So don’t be afraid to let us know what you think and let your friends know what you think. Because, in order to make this one of the best pirate video games, we are trying to build a great and passionate fan base. Did you know that a simple share link or email to a friend by a user, on average, can lead up to 3 more shares, which then, on average multiplies and can lead to, on average, 16 more shares in total! That’s just one person sharing our game, and 16 new people can see something they may have never otherwise seen!
And if we can even say 10% of those that view our product will download it that means we will have at least one new user off that ONE share! It really is that simple.
